Seasame Street Video is a video site for kids, featuring clips from Sesame Street episodes and exclusive content just for the web. There's a lot of videos on here, and the one thing pops out of you is the sheer volume of celebrities that have been on Sesame Street throughout the ages. The site is devoid completely of ads, except for a few small links to their own content and to the Sesame Street Store, but there are no other ads on the site since it is in fact geared towards kids.

Navigation is pretty simple allowing visitors to navigate by subject, view all, by character or song. They have just about every famous or well known Sesame Street clip on the site, and I was excited to find an old time classic, they don't provide a simple way to embed the videos possibly because there aren't a great deal of infants and children with websites and blogs of their own (at least not to my knowledge), a little mustering and here's what I was looking at:

The Overall Ratings for Weapon Videos:
Show Diversity: (4/5)
Based on the mixture of television shows available on the site.
Loading Speed: (4/5)
The time taken to navigate the site and load videos.
Ease of Navigation: (4/5)
How easy is it to use and navigate.
Advertisements: (0/5)
Based on the annoyance level of advertisements on this site, the amount of ads, and the volatility of ads appearing on the page.
The lower the rating, the less annoying the ads are.

Total Score: 17/20

Sesame Street Videos is exactly what you'd want a kids video site to look like and operate. The design and colours are very trendy (web 2.0) and yet it still operates easily enough for kids to play around and use. The videos are fast loading and unlike many mainstream video sites, are open to anyone regardless of geographic limit. The content is varied and diverse, and spans back throughout the entire series from as far back as the 60s from what I can tell. This is an exceptional site done really well, and very few bells and whistles added to make things as simple as possible. If you have a toddler or just want to reconnect with some of your childhood favourites - check out Sesame Street's Video section.
